Defeating the Curse (DTC)

Well, we are just a week away from the #superbowl nobody cares about and the end of the #NFL season. The boys are ready to switch into NBA and NHL mode while Stevie and Mat are already onto baseball. LP is watching a lot of international soccer and 20 has thoughts about the Royal Rumble... literally the show that has something for everyone! Join us! 

The boys are still recovering from a tough loss in Philadelphia to end the season and while the pain is real the progress and promise of a bright future are in the air. Many many supportive messages have come in to the various show accounts and we are all so very grateful. Pete from Philly however is the worst and 24 hours later is still harassing the cast. Biggest position of need? ... so many things to debate this offseason. What a fun ride it has been DC... cheers to a wonderful season.

The Commanders season continues after a big win on the road in #Detroit. The team that won 4 games in total last year is 60 minutes from playing in the super bowl! The NFC championship game is set for Philly on Sunday at 3pm... all.bets.are.off! Jayden needed to play a perfect game, and did! The #Lions had to be forced into mistakes, and they were. A little under the weather but still encouraged... Razzle, FP, and Joe yuck it all up in preparation for Sundays showdown in Philly.... It's a holiday week but that doesn't mean we skip a show! The #Commanders pulled off a stunning victory on Sunday over the #Eagles and got flexed into Sunday Night Football vs the #Falcons. The Christmas Day sports rotation was out of control between the NFL and NBA and while the NFL games were largely boring the NBA had an awesome day with an average margin of just 5 pts between winners and losers... but nobody watched! Pete from Philly chimes in from overseas and Stevie shares a largely redacted story... oops. + EPL Boxing Day GoalRush in 4k is awesome! Merry Christmas!

The boys are over the win on Sunday against the #Saints and have already switched gears to the #Eagles. The Lions lost their grip on the one-seed with #Vikings and Eagles firmly in the mix. The NFL MVP race is looking like its either a QB, a QB, or an RB at this point... but defensively, has anyone had a better season than TJ Watt? The boys share come of their favorite Christmas traditions and catch-up on all their shows and movies too!

Coming off the bye week for the Commanders the boys are in studio discussing the week that was in the NFL and the week ahead. Lots of MLB and Caps talk to start the show but the pivot to the NFL is quick.... The Eagles barely beat the Panthers but stay alive in the chase for the Lions and the top NFC seed, the Rams pulled a big upset, and the Chiefs... the Chiefs keep luck-winning. Seems like fans want to see Lions vs Bills but we are going to get stuck with Eagles vs Chiefs in the Super Bowl? Maybe? Commanders need a win against the Saints to stay alive in the NFC and what was the NFL thinking with several huge games in the 4pm window on Sunday?

The boys are in the studio discussing the NFL at large after the Commanders dominating win over the Titans. One person who said they would "NEVER" return to Fedex Field made his first trip to NW Stadium and we think several of the guys logged close to zero minutes of football this weekend... which is shocking considering it was on TV four of the last five days! FP and Joe are down hard after a tough loss to the Cowboys sinking the Commanders to 7-5. Is anyone still excited about this offense? Stevie is taking a victory lap as he repeatedly told the boys “I TOLD YOU SO” in the offline chat… and looking around the league the season may literally be hanging in the balance with a frisky #Titans team headed to town. This was a tough loss... hurts so bad! Every road to the playoffs includes a win over the Titans... here we go...

FP and Joe are in the studio discussing the 'skins dropping two games in four days to the state of Pennsylvania and officially kick off Dallas Week here in DC as well. At this point its pretty clear which teams are for real and which aren't across the NFL plus was the big fight between Paul and Tyson rigged? Well, the Commanders dropped a winnable game at home to Russ and the Steelers. The refs played a big part in the game which has some of the cast upset and on a short week there are no excuses as the Eagles are up next on Thursday night. Will the Jets win two more games this season? Will the Lions lose to more games this season? How about the Ravens, Cowboys, Chiefs and/or the Bears? + Capitals remain red hot and Ovechkin is steadily closing in on the record of all records... It was ugly and it was dramatic... Commanders win a thriller against the Bears to improve to 6-2 on the season. This is the immediate PostGame Reaction Show happening now!
 

The Burgundy&Gold retired #28 after scoring 27 in the first half against the Panthers. FP is encouraged while Joe isn't about JD5 and his injury designation moving forward. The NFC East is wide open... should Washington be looking to add players before trade deadline? Injuries around the league are going to turn the season into a complete guessing-game down the stretch and the NBA returns! + #MLB World Series starting too!

The #Commanders didn't get out of Baltimore with a win but we learned a lot about this team. Injuries always hurt, #Eagles and #Giants stink, #Cowboys already quit; NFC is winnable; NFL on the whole is wild! Very very streaky... plus the #MLB Playoffs continuing with surprises and the #Capitals C-A-P-S CAPS CAPS CAPS are back on the ice!

Commanders keep it rolling making it 4 straight wins with the Ravens up next. The boys are in studio still euphoric about it all and are ready to make some bold predictions. The NFC is wide open, the AFC picture is unclear as well, Jets fire their coach, and a quick look at power rankings as well!

Oh boy, the local football team is on a heater! The #Commanders win their 3rd in a row in convincing fashion and even the most stubborn must admit #JD5 is impressive. The Eagles lost to the Bucs, the Vikings keep rolling, the Bengals finally get a win. Plus, the MLB playoffs are here... it's officially the start of the BEST time of the sports year!

The boys are chopping it up after a huge primetime win for the Commanders on Monday night. Would you take Jayden or the field of QBs drafted this year to end with the best career? Changes in the Top5 and Low5 looking around the league and the P.Diddy news cycle will not stop and has the potential to take down factions of the Hollywood elite.

FP and Joe power through technical difficulties (sorry about the audio) to deliver a week one victory on the podcast. Commanders lost and while Joe is in a full blown panic, FP is exercising caution while acknowledging a week two loss would bring wrath from even the most positive Commanders fans. The 49ers, Lions, Texans, Chiefs, and Cowboys looked great to start the season, the Patriots and Bears came away with surprise wins, and the Dolphins and Bills are locked in for a big game in week two.
