*Pardon the Dust* (and rust) but FP and Joe are back in the studio after a long, long, long break... new music is on the way, summer recaps, and a lot of Commanders talk. Plus, why nobody cares about fantasy football anymore, what are you snaking on when watching TV, and what's coming up next on this season of the podcast. Summer is over. Welcome back. Welcome football!

Oh man... there is nothing like the offseason in Washington DC. Why does anyone cheer for the Commanders? Our former HC is now a talking head on ESPN and just in case you had interest in maybe the Capitals or Wizards both are not doing so well these days... Caps making trades while the Wiz lost 16 straight before an "upset" win vs the Hornets. Plus, why would you ever get in the ring with Mike Tyson? Mike might legit put a gap in Jake's chest if this fight ever happens!

How did the 49ers lose the big one? Chiefs started slow but ended perfectly and any discussion about best coach or QB of all time must include the current duo in KC. Looking forward the Commanders keep hiring coaches and the Marty's are still employed while in Florida... pitchers and catchers have officially reported!  
 

The boys are locked and loaded ready to discuss all the events surrounding the Commanders from the past week. New head coach, new OC, new DC and they seem "locked in" to do some hard work together. Razzle and Stevie have some interesting prop bets and FP is already mixing the super bowl kool-aid for next season! 

Ben Johnson made it official while the Commanders were in route to interview him that he will not be leaving Detroit and similarly Slowik agreed to an extension to stay with the Texans meaning the Commanders may pull out a play from the old playbook we like to call the "Zorn"... Is this an early "L" for the new ownership? + Should the Ravens consider trading Lamar and Dan Campbell thoughts from the boys. If you had to pick one celebrity to see fifty times a game do you want to see Taylor or Marshall ? The Nationals are getting new uniforms, the Orioles just sold AND will we see a 100pt game in the NBA? 

Divisional Playoff Weekend may be the better than opening weekend in the NFL and watching Pat Mahomes on the field is tough when there is so much Chiefs off the field nonsense that is part of the package. The Ravens rolled, the 49ers survived, and the Lions are on a heater! Closer to home, in DC, the team is considering a QB at 2 (NO!!!!), the Eagles are flirting with Ron, and Joel Embiid went for 70pts on the anniversary of Kobe's 81 pt performance. + Would you chop a $9m pot with 12 others?

Bills and Lions look solid as they advance, Bucs too, and the Chiefs leave us wondering how much magic is left in the tank? The Eagles and the Cowboys both lost ending the NFC east representation in the playoffs and locally the Commanders have their new GM in place with interviews starting later this week for their open head coach position! 

Join the crew as they cover all angles of Ron being fired as head coached and GM... why did Josh go with an outside hire to lead the GM/HC search? Was Magic involved and how long have these guys been in place to make the announcement  so quickly! Penix and the Huskies struggled in the loss to Michigan BUT could the Commanders target him as a late round pick to pair with the coach that just beat him ? +One team we love and one team we dont as the NFL playoffs start in just a few days... #HTTC

Happy New Year from our DTC crew to everyone out there! We are closing on some huge show milestones and want to thank everyone involved... thank you thank you! The Commanders will continue to stink with one game remaining, did you win or lose your fantasy league, and are the Browns the most dangerous team in the NFL right now? ... also Stevie and his new pants + the NBA is over.

The boys are back in studio a day later than usual due to the Christmas holiday but they got a LOT of opinions on a pending QB change, what to do with a top 5 pick, and many questions related to two legacy Ravens QBs, ... the NFL playoff picture is starting to take shape with almost every seed still shifting and how about those Lions! 

The boys are thankful the season is almost over... Commanders are regressing although there were signs of life from individual offensive contributors. Do you start QB1 or QB2 against the Jets next week? The NFL seems wide open as we start eyeballing the playoffs, with teams like the Browns, Bucs, and Rams getting hot at just the right time! Plus, who is having the better offseason, the Yankees or the Dodgers and what does a Wiz/Caps move to Virginia mean to downtown DC! 

An all around bizarre week in the NFL with upsets everywhere, odd scores, and plot twists in both the top 5 and bottom 5 teams... nobody is tanking, except maybe the _____ . The NBA in-season tournament has ended, with the Lakers beating the Pacers... will anyone care next year, or the year after? Could the Wiz/Caps make the move to Alexandria? Why not build a super sports plex in DC where RFK currently sits? Chase Young has done nothing, Montez has some thoughts on Ron, Aaron Rodgers is set to make history and is anyone worth $70million a season? 

Join the boys for a midweek treat taking a look around the NFL. There is no way this coaching staff in DC returns next year... right? Which teams are streaking as we near the playoffs + why all of a sudden the NBA in-season tournament is low-key awesome. And what happened with the Nationals on MLB Draft Lottery Day... and will the Wizards ever be good again? So much to chat about! Join us!

*Pete from Philly joins the show as the boys are yucking it up after another Commanders loss.... they continue to sink further into irrelevance and the culture talk is making everyone sick these days... thats the culture of the team... Irrelevant. Dolphins are rolling as are the 49ers and while the NBA season is ongoing there is not much to talk about on the court… BUT…. what is Mark Cuban doing?

The boys are back after the (best) holiday break to discuss the loss to the cowboys, the firing of JDR, the potential for new GMs and HCs to be considered and take a general look around the league as the best teams are miles better than the good teams and a few are back from the dead (Broncos?). Plus, how SI used AI to trick its readers.... and will the wiz rebuild faster than the commanders?

The boys are struggling to come up with a #Commanders thanksgiving list beyond ownership change, the team looks terrible vs the Giants, Ron and JDR still employed, and Sam is regressing... yuck. Angel suspended, Ovi surging, Jordan Poole is already turning heel in DC, and Dana White inspires the boys with his 86 hour liquid fast. Happy Thanksgiving!

Miss a FG early, get players ejected, penalties late, and lack of clock management ... welcome to Washington Football. Ron was out coached by someone double his age but the Commanders COULD have pulled out a win... instead, it's a loss and the season is likely over. Sam is growing, future may be bright, but right now, the sting is real.

The boys are locked in after a road win in New England brings the Commanders back into the playoff picture. While there were a few stinker games (ravens) there was also a few surprising ones too (vikings).... "Dobbs is crazy good for a below average QB" + Clay Travis a 100% correct, a good HS Boys team would destroy the WNBA's ACEs in a game, or a series. (No, we don't want Ron or Billy B here in DC next season!)

The Washington Commanders rebuild has started. Tez and Sweat both traded. Listen in to FP and LP disect the trade. 

How do you handle Halloween as an adult? Death on the ice in England (super sad situation), the UFC/Boxing obsession grows for one show cast-member + Commanders jump out to a lead but fail to beat the Eagles... again! The NFL top 5 and low 5 are here to close out week seven and Stevie helps us get ready for game three of the world series which has been shockingly eventful even though nobody is watching!

FP and Joe are in studio discussing the fiery furnace that is currently Coach Ron's seat and what can be done to turn it down a tad. They took around the league on a week full of upset wins and while the NHL and NBA seasons are getting rolling the baseball season is almost at its final matchup with one matchup NOBODY wants to see looming large.

The boys are hot. The Commanders, Football Team, Redskins... doesn't matter... when they should win the regularly lose! Offense was flat, defense was leaky, special teams failed (less a crucial recovery)... but why can't this team find it's groove early on. The longest seven minutes... 

The boys recap the full slate of NFL games including the Commanders win in ATL to improve to 3-3... reminder, they beat nobody as FP says. The NFL is basically a bunch of .500 teams, the CAPS are back on the ice, and Bryce homers on his birthday... do we cheer or never/ever cheer?

Commanders slip in the power rankings but given cooler heads have come forth since the Bears loss the boys are enthralled with playoff baseball. Bryce did Bryce things in ATL while the Diamondbacks may be demonstrating why the new playoff model is flawed with favorite teams losing! +ESPN will roll out "FROZEN FRENZY" on opening night as we see the Red-Zone-ification of sports continue from NFL to GoalRush and now Frozen Frenzy can the NBA do something similar and would anyone care? The boys are hot after an absolutely embarrassing lose at home in primetime... tell us a new story! Nothing ever changes for the fans of this terrible football team. Coaches grade out at an F but frankly so should everyone else... there are no positive take-aways when you lose to the worst team in the league and look terrible doing it! How do you lose to a QB that creates 15 passes, eight of which are to ONE wide receiver!? Burn it all down!
