Redskins vs Saints; 2018 Week 5 Preview; Brees Chasing History

The Redskins head to New Orleans to face the Saints on Monday night in a primetime spot but the biggest news tonight is this is the first truly solo show for Joe! It finally happened! Well not really, it's just a solo entrance to a joint podcast hosted by the Who Dat Dish podcast previewing the big game. Can the Redskins keep Drew Brees from attaining the all-time passing yards record (201), will Mark Ingram change the game and force the Redskins to adapt defensively, or will Chris Thompson pickup where he left off last year in the same building to finish off the Saints? Redskins Stuff the Packers; Peterson Rumbles On; Defense May Be Elite

No one expected this, the Redskins dominated the Packers from start to finish. That is now twice the Redskins have dominated an opponent when even we didn't expect it. FP, LP, Stevie, Joe, and Razzle are on the pod with game analysis and a full recap. The Redskins are sitting in a good spot at 2-1 heading into the early bye week which is usually a terrible thing. Jon Allen, Da'ron Payne and the rest of the defensive line deserve gameballs for a great effort, and Jay Gruden out coached Mike McCarthy offensively... no way anyone saw that coming! Packers vs Redskins; 2018 Week 3 Preview; Is Rodgers Beatable?

The Packers are coming to DC and bringing their Super Bowl ambitions with them. FP and Joe breakdown this week's matchup with special guest Fred Thurston from @TheSweepPodcast getting into the weeds about Rodger's health, legacy, and ability, even when crippled. Joe has some positive vibes for new wide receiver Michael Floyd while FP has concerns about the Redskins ability to get real pressure from the defensive line to choke the Packers terrible run game. Can the Redskins replicate their recent success against the Packers or will Fedex be overrun with cheese-heads. Also, @NFL, nobody wants or likes a tie! 
 

Redskins Colts Instant Postgame Show

The Redskins were dominated from start to finish by the Colts. FP and LP were live from FedEx field with instant post game analysis. The overall analysis...not good. Were the Cardinals that bad or did the Redskins lay an egg? Maybe a little bit of both but it doesn't matter as the guys discuss where the Redskins go from here. The Colts are coming to DC and the Redskins are ready for them! Stevie, FP, LP, and Joe breakdown the week two matchup, give their keys to the game, and spotlight a few players on offense and defense that they expect to be the difference makers. Redskins Win 24-6; Crush Cardinals; Colts Up Next

Hail to the Redskins! After a big 24-6 win in Arizona, FP, Stevie, Razzle, and Joe are locked and loaded to talk about everything that went right, and everything that went wrong. Jay finally got an opening week victory, the skins finally have a workhorse running back, and Alex Smith looked cool in the pocket all day long thanks to a solid performance by the offensive line. The defense looked good too with the rookies doing some solid work upfront while the veteran defensive backs created problems for Bradford all day long. All in, a big win for the redskins! Nationals Are Done; Nike Features Kaep; NFL Season Begins

Joe and Stevie are live and ready to go talking about the end of the Gio era with the Nationals, the reasons why the season went so poorly, and what to expect in the coming months as Rizzo prepares for 2019. Welcome to the DTC week in review. Mat, Stevie, and Joe discuss Juan Soto and his debut with the Nationals as a lone brightspot for the team this week with a "must-have" weekend series against the Marlins coming up. At the 12 minute mark the #Nationals talk shifts to #Capitals talk with a recap of the viewing party at Cap1Arena for game 7, and a discussion of why this IS the team that can bring home a title. Tom Wilson, Great8, Holtby discussed in detail, plus, has any one GM ever been responsible for two teams facing each other in the championship round of any sport? George McPhee built both the Capitals and #Vegas #GoldenKnights and deserves credit. The final topic starting at minute 29 (after a discussion of old guys and boobs) is about the #NFL and why their new national anthem policy will only make things worse for the business. Cousins to Cleveland Makes Too Much Sense to Ignore

FP and LP discussed NFL Free Agency but Joe had to get them on the record about a few things including why they think Kirk Cousins wouldn't go to Cleveland. In this 30 minute podcast dedicated to Kirk Cousins FP, LP, and Joe jump back into the Cousins lottery and debate why the Browns would make a lot of sense. Wouldn't winning 5 or 6 games in Cleveland be equal to making the playoffs for any other team? Wouldn't spending the 1st and 4th pick on an offensive and defensive lineman plus resigning Isiah Crowell be enticing enough for free agents to consider the Browns as a team with true potential? The more Joe talked the more LP seemed to come around but FP was adamant; Cousins wants to win and win now.... Joe just isn't convinced that this is his last big contract and predicted a 6 year, $200m contract with 3 years and $100 guaranteed as the kind of offer Cleveland may offer!

Kirk Cousins is long gone, the Redskins will not be tagging him. Alex Smith is the Redskins quarterback going forward. Join LP and FP as they gather their thoughts, over 1 month removed from the trade. They also talk NFL combine, NFL free agency, including WR picks for the Redskins. The talk shifts to the combine where we've heard from the Redskins Brass on free agent talks with Zach Brown and other pending Redskins free agents. Florida Shooting; Revisiting Alex Smith; + Nationals Spring Training Preview

Stevie and Joe recap the events of the week starting with a focus on the shooting in Florida. In this never-ending newscycle both hosts had a few things to share. The show then pivots to a discussion about Alex Smith and a revisit of his trade and extension with the Redskins which then leads the boys into a conversation about Amazon potentially moving to DC and leads into a preview of the Nationals spring training which is just weeks away. This type of show is quick-paced and shifts a lot as it follows the thoughts of Steve and Joe but it is their favorite type to record because it is unscripted and raw. The Eagles are Champions

With much sadness and contempt, we must announce and confirm, the Philadelphia Eagles are champions. The NFC East continued to terrorize Brady & Bunch in the Super Bowl improving to 3-0 (Giants x2, Eagles x1) and the offseason has officially arrived. Now as Redskins fans we can't cheer for a division rival, and cheering for greatness is boring, so most of us were cheering for our money... but we lost most of our prop bets too. Tough night all around for Redskins fans but let's be honest... Pete from Philly deserves a moment or two to enjoy his championship and predicted the keys to the game perfectly last week. Stevie, Joe, and Pete recap the big game with an eye turned now to the offseason and what may or may not happen just a bit north on I-95. We are just 80 days away from the NFL draft...
