Postgame Live; WFT Wins; Many Questions Remain

The WFT traveled south to ATL to face the Falcons and came away with a victory. Did they play well? Sorta? The Falcons had their moments and the Football Team did as well. 2-2 looks a lot better than 1-3 but they honestly feel the same right now. Chase Young got flagged for a terrible penalty, but the refs gave it back on the next possession. WFT is going to set a record for number of 3rd plays they give up that turn into touchdowns! If that's not a stat, it needs to be! A win is a win... but this doesn't feel great.

Week 4 WFT @ ATL; Ron Quotes; MNF Broadcast Shines

The loss in Buffalo still stings but the show must go on... literally. The boys will discuss what did and didn't work against the Bills, look ahead to the Falcons, and react to a few of coach Ron's soundbites from his weekly radio hit. Also, Peyton/Eli are a perfect alt broadcast that is still under appreciated!

WFT Crushed by BillsMafia; Defensive Troubles Continue; Coaching Adjustments Needed

Joe is solo and live on the Kontender network for the WFT Post game show! Washington traveled to Buffalo and got run out of the building 43-21 and in reality it should have been much worse for the Football Team. The offense lacked creativity, the defense lacks everything, and special teams was the lone bright spot but in the end, it was a terrible team performance. The schedule only has a handful of "win-able" games remaining based on the defensive play we have seen in the first three weeks of the season.

Bill Rohland joins Stevie and Joe for a look around the NFL... which teams are trending up, which not so up, and each have one or two teams to watch to keep an eye on as well! 2021 Week 2 Recap; NFC East Looks Strong(er); Bills Mafia Preview

Razzle and Joe recap week two around the NFL including a closer look at two NFC east rivals in Dallas and Philadelphia. The duo discuss the sweetness of having the WFT win on Thursday and thus having no threat of a ruined Sunday due to loss AND debate the genius behind the Manning and Manning ESPN2 Monday Night Football broadcast. The second half of the show DTC welcomes Jamie D'Amico from the Jamie D and Big Newt Podcast (SB Nation) who covers the Bills to preview week three and talk about the ridiculous 8.5 spread for the WFT as they head to Buffalo.

FP, Razzle, & Joe recap the WFT beating the NY Giants in dramatic fashion and discuss the highs and lows on both sides of the ball. Is the primetime curse over!? Taylor Heinicke may have "it" while Daniel Jones seems to only have "it" when he faces Washington. If the WFT is going to have success this season the D-Line has to decide whether they are elite or average or below average... for now a win is a win! #HTTFT

Bolts Beat WFT; Packers Look Cooked; NFC West All Playoff Bound; Giants Preview

Stevie Joe and Razzle revisit week 1 from around the NFL focusing on the teams that looked terrible, like the Packers and WFT, and the teams that looked amazing, like the entire NFC West! The boys break down the WFT loss at home to the Chargers and then turn their attention to the Giants with that week 2 matchup looming in just 48 hours! Antonio Reyes, who covers the Giants, joins the show and just like last week, continues the trend of guests picking WFT to win in a close one. Can Taylor lead this offense to victory? Can Chase and the WFT defense get right on Thursday night? There is much to discuss! 

Football is Back; Bucs defeat Cowboys; Headlines Dak v Brady; Pick‘em

Happy Football! The 2021 season has begun with a fun one in Tampa Bay. The Bucs beat the Cowboys to start the season but the Bucs didn't look that great, and the Cowboys looked much better than expected... so naturally, there was a little panic in Washington as Dallas doesn't face a playoff team for another 10 weeks! Stevie, Razzle, and Joe breakdown the opening night matchup and look forward predicting division and conference champs with a few surprise pics for the Super Bowl as well! Happy football!
 

Chargers @ WFT - Week 1 Preview w/TUFF

Week 1 is here! Chargers are heading to DC to face the Football Team and this is the only show you need to listen to get ready! Special guest Lucas (@sugarfreelucas) from the TUFF Podcast joins the DTC crew to talk details about Justin Herbert's progress this offseason, Austin Ekeler becoming Alvin Kamara-lite, and why the Bolts could be a 10 win team. WFT Preseason Week 1 in the books & Cincy Preview

Preseason week 1 is in the books, and on to week 2. In the first preseason game Chase Young had a monster forced fumble, the defense looked great, top 5 is very achievable. Jamin Davis looked a little lost but there is no reason to be concerned, he is a rookie and is learning how to be a star in the NFL> Afterall isn't that what preseason is about? The offense also looked solid. Fitz was Fitz and Heinicke showed that it wasn't just a game and a half but he MIGHT be able to do this for real. Jarret Patterson looks like he belongs in the NFL, and can do a little bit of everything. Listen in to FP and LP discuss their thoughts on NFL preseason game and and look forward to preseason game 2. Friday the 13th; WFT Preseason Begins; Field of Dream Game

Joe and Stevie catch up on a plethora of topics as a new football season begins. Fitz is clearly QB1 and everyone SHOULD be ok with that. DC still hurting after the Nationals big trade but how long until they are competitive again? Could the NBA take a page out of the MLB / NHL playbook and have the Nets and Knicks play in Rucker Park? What is old is new again! +the debut of our new show intro! (still working out some technical details... but we are excited to be back in the booth creating content!)

Caps/Wiz Eliminated Round 1; WFT Best in the NFC?

The NBA is slowly dying. Super teams are annoying. Lebron James is out of the playoffs and changing his jersey again. The Wizards made the playoffs but really had absolutely no chance. The Caps are eliminated in the first round once again. WFT is looking more and more like a really, really REALLY strong contender in the NFC. Finally the USMNT had one of the best soccer games of the decade against El Tri. 

NFC East Champs

It DOESN'T matter that they only won 7, it doesn't matter that Hurts was taken out of the game, it doesn't matter that it wasn't pretty. it doesn't matter it just doesn't. It's the NFL and that's what happens. The Washington Football Team is the NFC East Champions, and Alex Smith just wins. 11-5 as a start in Washington, he just wins.

Redskins Trade for a QB; Trade Away a DB; CV19 Ends Sports

CoronaVirus continues to crush the souls of sports fans around the world and with no end in sight, the boys at DTC are thankful to be healthy, bitter at the lack of live sports content, and hopeful a cure/vaccine will be found soon. NFL free agency is well underway and the Redskins made an interesting moving nabbing one Carolina QB and trading away a starting DB to a bitter rival in the Pacific northwest. NBA Season Suspended; Corona Virus Thoughts; Bernie Bro's

Stevie and Joe were literally caught speechless when the #NBA announced the season had been suspended, so they took 10 mins, gathered their thoughts and then turned on the mics! The NBA season may resume with playoffs only based on current seeding, or may have play-in games, who knows, right now however, there will be no more games. European soccer is already halting games as well, travel to Europe is suspended for 30 days, and yes, #CoronaVirus #COVID19 is to blame and not going anywhere anytime soon. Somehow one thing leads to another and the boys end up discussing the democratic primaries, the lack of presidential leadership, the stock market tanking, and what may come next here in DC. This is a unique show from two people doing their best to work through all the information and share their personal thoughts without fanning the flames of fear. We will be ok America. Stay Strong. (and wash your hands!)

Super Bowl LIV Preview; Predictions; Prop Bets

Stevie, Razzle, and Joe pay respects to the Mamba then switch gears to break down yet another Super Bowl matchup that happens to feature an ex-Redskins coach and several ex-Redskins players too. Stevie likes the Chiefs because of their offensive firepower, Razzle is on the 49ers because of their defensive abilities, and Joe is playing both sides and only cares about the point spreads and prop bets! (This show was recorded live, audio issues, and random interruptions were frequent... we'll clean that up next time around!)

The Redskins finished a dismal 3-13 but there is a lot to be excited for as all 'skins fans look forward to 2020. The number two overall pick, a new head coach, and the end of the Bruce Allen era too! Fantasy Football is back and that means drafts are happening and ending and the season is just around the corner. There were some reaches, some surprises, and ten fantasy owners that think they executed the perfect draft! Zek will play but will Melvin? Baker will rise, but can Lamar? Preseason Wk 1 Recap; Mayfield Blooming; WR Depth; Defensive Payne

FP and LP are here to break down the Redskins preseason game 1. The line is missing a LT, can Donald Penn and Geron Christian be stop gap solutions? The boys discuss. Case Keenum didn't look sharp but did have a TD pass to Robert Davis. Haskins shows that the talent is there but it's still raw and he needs time to develop. What are you looking forward to in week 2? 

Training Camp Recap; Rookie Forecasts; Wins & Loses

As #Redskins training camp ends and the season begins some here at DTC are excited while others are worried. The boys get sidetracked into some inside the beltway talk but it all comes full circle to the Redskins in the end! No Trent is a big problem however young coachable talent at offensive skill positions is still exciting. Stevie, Pete, Razzle, and Joe talk about the weeks that were in Richmond as the Redskins pack up camp and get ready to face the Browns. The QB battle appears to be wide open while the RB battle has settled down into what will be a lucrative timeshare for all parties involved... if, Stevie reminds us, Trent shows up! Joe is excited to see this young and promising defensive front take the field while Pete has questions about the timing of some of the Redskins cuts this offseason most notably Mason Foster. Joe has the #Redskins winning 10 games, Pete has them winning 7, Stevie is at 6, and Razzle is at 4. The show ends with a spirited discussion about the ongoing presidential debates because after all this is DC!
