The Commanders will have a new face of the franchise at the start of next season and it will be Carson Wentz! After weeks of back and forth about trading for Watson, or Rodgers (never), or Wilson (ha!), the Comms landed Wentz for a very reasonable asking price from the Colts... but why so cheap? Commanders Take Command; WFT Retired; JZ Loves Uniforms; What’s Next

The Redskins became the Football Team and have now become the Commanders. The name isn't terrible but why did it seem the organization was unprepared for an announcement of this magnitude? Three guys sitting out on the lawn? No stage? No hype video? ... just seemed lacking... but it is finished. Today the name changed, and tomorrow congress will begin in their inquiry into allegations of misconduct. Busy few days in DC.

WarHogs or Football Commanders; Super Bowl is Set; Rogan Un-cancelable; Brady Retires

In a few days the #Redskins will be renamed to "something"... finally! NFL Wild Card Weekend; WarHogs or Field; Snow Days

Join the boys on Sunday night to recap the games that were (Bengals/Bills/Bucs/49ers), the game that is (KC), and to look ahead to the one that is yet to come on Monday. WarHogs and Alliance are two names making a late run in DC + snow as an adult is terrible. Stevie is also eating more sandwiches these days and 20 is afraid of having an adult opinion.

Stevie, Razzle, and Joe are ready to put the final season of the Washington Football Team to rest. It was eventful, disappointing, and most importantly the last one for the team formally known as the Redskins under their temporary name. With their new name set to be announced in a few weeks the boys talk about Highs and Lows for the season, and what may be coming next for the franchise. The boys also pick winners for every NFL matchup on the slate for Wild Card weekend and Stevie makes a few surprise (early) Super Bowl picks too!

WFT Postgame Show; Eagles Win; No Playoffs for the WFT

The WFT needed a win against the surging Eagles to keep their playoff hopes alive but were unable to get it done at FedEx in the final home game of the season. To add insult to injury, part of the stadium collapsed as well almost injuring Jalen Hurts and several others. Stevie and Joe debate was the loss more of a poor performance on the field or did it have more with the play calling on both offense and defense. Regardless, WFT have been eliminated with one game to go next week in NY against the Giants. 

The Legend of John Madden; WFT Woes; Old Redskins Highlights

Stevie and Joe are back to discuss the legend of John Madden and what he meant to generations of football fans. Some knew him as a coach, others as a tv analyst, and most today know him as the name behind the most popular football video game on the planet. The boys also discuss the disaster that was Sunday Night in Dallas and Stevie shares how he has been passing time the past week which includes watching a lot of Clinton Portis highlights! 

Eagles Run All Over the WFT; Defense Exposed; Fast Start Not Enough

There were a number of reasons (besides COVID) that led to WFT losing to the Eagles on Tuesday night... the primary reason, the defense struggled giving up over 500 yards. The Football Team drops to 6-8 and are headed to Dallas in a must win + need help situation to keep their playoff hopes alive. Razzle/Manny/Joe break it all down on this episode of DTC...

Razzle and Joe are here to get you set for the WFT vs the Eagles on Tuesday night... there are so many playoff implications and a never ending list of COVID19 players that have to be accounted for that all bets are off heading into what is effectively a must-win for both teams! Stevie and Joe fire up the mics for a rare mid-day show but there is just too much to discuss to wait any longer! Dallas took over FedEx and the brave WFT fans that paid to go to the game the first half was terrible, the second half was better, but the team just couldn't pull out a win in the end. WFT still control their playoff destiny but need a win against Philly to keep the train on its tracks... how can they do that without half their defensive starters?? + Wiz are sliding and Beal may be done + why is hot chocolate so good!?

It‘s DALLAS Week in DC; WFT Injuries; Top 5/Low 5; Fantasy Help

FP and Joe are pumped because its DALLAS WEEK! We want DALLAS, We Want DALALS! Those words still mean something to diehard DC fans! WFT is coming in on a 4 game win streak playing with house money whereas the pressure is on the Cowboys... all of it! Shelly J joins the show (21:00) to preview the matchup further and Joe V (36:00) helps everyone pick some fantasy sits/starts as we head into the final playoff push. + Joe has a slightly changed Top 5 and the Lions aren't the worst team in the league anymore! WFT Survive the Raiders; Gibby Runs Strong; Dallas Week Begins

The WFT traveled to Las Vegas and earned a big big win to pull their season record to 6-6. It's all eyes on the Cowboys as Dallas-Week officially begins in DC and it couldn't come at a better time! The WFT have work to do but they are in the drivers seat and control their own destiny down the stretch with only divisional matchups remaining throughout the NFC East. Hail to the Football Team!

WFT Win; Panthers Caged; ”Playoff” Quality Win

The WFT traveled to Carolina to face the Panthers and Ron got the better of his former QB this time. The WFT defense looked steady from start to finish keeping Cam and CMC in front of them for most of the game while the WFT offense ran for more yards than they passed for... interesting!? DC gets a quality win to extend their win streak to two in a row with a MNF matchup against the Seahawks next. Joe talks about it all on this postgame live show LIVE on the Kontender!

WFT @ Carolina; NFL Top5/Low 5; Wiz Update; Must See TV

The mics are hot as Joe and 20 preview WFT v Carolina... the Ron/Cam showdown + there is a strong disagreement on which teams belong atop the NFL rankings and just how low the Lions could go. The duo also discuss the red-hot Wizards and debate some of the best all-time "guy" TV shows from The League to Ballers and why is everyone obsessed with Curb?
