CoronaVirus continues to crush the souls of sports fans around the world and with no end in sight, the boys at DTC are thankful to be healthy, bitter at the lack of live sports content, and hopeful a cure/vaccine will be found soon. NFL free agency is well underway and the Redskins made an interesting moving nabbing one Carolina QB and trading away a starting DB to a bitter rival in the Pacific northwest. NBA Season Suspended; Corona Virus Thoughts; Bernie Bro's

Stevie and Joe were literally caught speechless when the #NBA announced the season had been suspended, so they took 10 mins, gathered their thoughts and then turned on the mics! The NBA season may resume with playoffs only based on current seeding, or may have play-in games, who knows, right now however, there will be no more games. European soccer is already halting games as well, travel to Europe is suspended for 30 days, and yes, #CoronaVirus #COVID19 is to blame and not going anywhere anytime soon. Somehow one thing leads to another and the boys end up discussing the democratic primaries, the lack of presidential leadership, the stock market tanking, and what may come next here in DC. This is a unique show from two people doing their best to work through all the information and share their personal thoughts without fanning the flames of fear. We will be ok America. Stay Strong. Kobe Tribute; Remembering Mamba; Forever Grateful

For many of us the passing of Kobe Bryant and his daughter still seems surreal. She was going to be better than her dad in his own words and sadly the world will never get to see that happen... and as for Kobe... we grew up with Kobe and even though we never met him he felt like family. We saw him enter the league as a teenager, dominate as a man, and retire as an icon. What we didn't know was just how profound of an impact he was making outside of the public eye... and as the stories start to be shared now that he has passed one thing is absolutely certain... the legend of Kobe Bryant will never die.

The Wizards have been busy acquiring young talent and draft picks while the Nets made a huge splash landing KD, Kyrie, and DJ... however, Joe believes the 76ers and Jazz are having better off-seasons while LP is on Boston and 20 thinks the Lakers are unbeatable if Kawhi joins them. The trio debate the crazy start to NBA free agency including DLo to the Warriors and IT to the Wiz. The boys also discuss the USWNT win over England and look ahead towards the World Cup finale too! LP, FP, 20, Canada, and Joe discuss what was the NBA Finals and MVP Kawhi's next move. The guys also discuss the confusion surrounding the Wizards, the chaos caused around the league by the injuries in the bay area, and expectations for the upcoming draft in a few days time. Harrison Barnes has opted out of his current deal, Al Horford too, and Brad Beal may be on the way to NOLA for the 4th pick too... crazy, this league is crazy! Joe also shares his thoughts on why the NBA has a big problem on its hands because people seem to care more about the post-season than the actual season. Does Mo Salah have a nice body? NBA Finals 2019 Preview; Raptors Win If; Offseason Moves

LP has the Warriors in 3, Canada has the Raptors in 6, Money has the Warriors in 7, FP is on the Warriors in 4, Stevie doesn't care, and Joe hasn't decided yet! The NBA Finals tip on Thursday night and Canada, Money, and Joe are on the podcast talking about matchups, betting lines, over/under, MVP candidates, and of course making predictions. Canada is convinced the Raptors will be fresh and the Warriors will be rusty after a week off, Money doesn't care and is adamant that with or without KD the Warriors will win, and Joe just wants everyone to bet the under on game 1 which is set way to high! The entire country is on the Raptors + all of North Mexico (aka Canada)... its the Finals and it starts Thursday!

NBA Conference Finals; Draft Lottery; Rockets Grounded

Pete, Canada, and Joe discuss the greatest shot in Canadian basketball history, after listening to it in several languages, then put a bow on the 76ers season, then turn their attention to the Eastern and Western Conference Finals. First, in the east, can anyone stop the Bucks and their balanced rotation, and similarly in the west, are the Blazers deep enough to knock off the Warriors. The trio also discuss the Durant to Knicks rumor and speculate on the which team getting Zion would be the best for the NBA.... also CP3 is over-rated, Harden isn't as good as his stats, and the Nets may be the sleeper team to land some big-name free agents this summer.

Saints and Chiefs Robbed; NFL Rule Changes; Goose Allen Interview; Wiz Wins

FP, 20, and Joe are talking about how the Saints and Rams should be forced to replay the end of the NFC championship game (1:30), how the Chiefs should have had an opportunity to touch the ball in OT (4:30), and why the NFL should immediately change the Overtime Rules and make all plays available for challenge (11:25). Also, Joe lays out a solid reason as to why all NFL challenges should be handled from New York and NOT on the field in real-time. Brady gets a chance to book-end his career with another win against the Rams in the Superbowl (21:30) and might he walk off and retire? The Wizards are missing John Wall and struggling to string wins together while the Capitals are streaking and trying to cement their identity as they are set to make a second straight cup-run! The Capitals on the other hand are quietly repeating their success from last year, playing well against the better teams and beating the teams they should. Goodbye 2018 and Hello 2019. #FireBruceAllen should continue to trend on twitter as the #Redskins face their fans and the offseason with lots of questions (seemingly without answers) while #FireErnie should begin trending as the Wizards are likely to finish no better than 7th in the East. Even with all the negative headlines in DC Sports the one headline that matters is that the Capitals are champions and thus, we are all champions! Olympics + WorldCup always make things awesome.... but 2019 will be great as well! Congrats Stevie, Almost Congrats LP! Happy New Year to all! 

Kelly Oubre Traded; Ariza Acquired; Redskins v Jags Preview

The Washington Wizards have traded away Kelly Oubre and Austin Rivers and welcomed back Trevor Ariza. On the surface this screams "Fire Ernie" but surprisingly LP and Joe are not on the same page with Joe being "pro" the trade for several reasons. The duo break it all down and preview the Redskins Jaguars game as well! Tune in, comment, share, repeat... and DC... it will get better one day, some day, when Ernie and Bruce are gone!

NFL Free Agency; Redskins Improve Defense; DC United Playoff Push; World Series Recap

Stevie and Joe are ready to break down NFL free agency and the moves the Redskins did and did NOT make at the trade deadline! The NBA is back and the Wizards should be a team to challenge for the Lebron-less Eastern Conference crown along with the Raptors, Celtics, and maybe... the Bucks?! Well, Joe thinks so encourage #DCfamily to not lose hope after a slow start to the season for the Wiz. Justin (@jusblaze_513) from the Above the Rim Podcast joins the show to talk about the big storylines across the NBA through the first full week of the season and share his thoughts on the Rockets, Lakers, Wizards, Warriors, Celtics, Raptors, and one bold prediction that the Lakers will miss the playoffs even if fully healthy! Stevie and Joe are back from vacation and getting caught up on all things sports and all things DC! NBA Finals Recap; Ratings Down; Summer of LeBron

Well, that was not interesting at all. The Warriors defeated the Cavs in straight sets to win the NBA Finals and bring the NBA season to a close. In DC, we have been consumed by all things NHL and Capitals to the point that many of us didn't actually watch Game 4 of the NBA Finals until several days after it actually happened... but did anyone really see this ending differently? Justin "JusBlaze" joins Joe to put a bow on the NBA season and talk a little but about what could have been and what may be by the time the summer ends and the new season begins. Are the Warriors a dynasty? Is there such a thing in the modern NBA? Could Durant leave the Bay Area for LA? Might Paul George, LeBron, or a few Spurs join him there?
