Stevie, Mat, and Joe are getting set for the World Series and doing their best to ignore the Football Team and their continued regression. The boys discuss the H-town v ATL match-up plus some prop bets of note including overall home runs for the series set at 18.5... that could be juicy!

The WFT is heading to Green Bay to face Aaron Rodgers and the streaking Packers that may win by 35+ if the DC defense cant figure things out quickly. Stevie and Joe take a look around the NFL to identify their top 5 and low 5 + Ron surprises everyone by letting go of Hopkins and his 85% made FG rate... why now Ron? Why? The Dodgers are in trouble but are still alive and the Red Sox might go streaking soon. Does anything compare to playoff baseball!? 

The DTC mics are on and the boys are hot about another terrible showing for the Football Team as the defense continues to struggle, allowing 21 points and scoring ZERO in the second half against KC. The retirement ceremony for Sean Taylor was a disgrace and Joe has thoughts about what could have been done differently. Absolute embarrassment. Why does WFT run 5 yard slants on 3rd and 8? Anyone know? Meanwhile the Cowboys are running away with the NFC East. + the Capitals are looking good and the MLB playoffs are amazing!

While the Nationals season is over here in DC the MLB playoffs are just getting started. Stevie, Mat, and Joe preview the post-season while putting to rest a tough year for the Nats + we are watching the Yankees and Red Sox in real-time too! What is Juan Soto worth today? In Rizzo we trust!

Joe and Stevie catch up on a plethora of topics as a new football season begins. Fitz is clearly QB1 and everyone SHOULD be ok with that. CoronaVirus continues to crush the souls of sports fans around the world and with no end in sight, the boys at DTC are thankful to be healthy, bitter at the lack of live sports content, and hopeful a cure/vaccine will be found soon. NFL free agency is well underway and the Redskins made an interesting moving nabbing one Carolina QB and trading away a starting DB to a bitter rival in the Pacific northwest. What else do the Redskins need to do this offseason, and if Joey B falls to two in the draft... what would YOU do? #HTTR

Stevie and Joe were literally caught speechless when the #NBA announced the season had been suspended, so they took 10 mins, gathered their thoughts and then turned on the mics! The NBA season may resume with playoffs only based on current seeding, or may have play-in games, who knows, right now however, there will be no more games. European soccer is already halting games as well, travel to Europe is suspended for 30 days, and yes, #CoronaVirus #COVID19 is to blame and not going anywhere anytime soon. Somehow one thing leads to another and the boys end up discussing the democratic primaries, the lack of presidential leadership, the stock market tanking, and what may come next here in DC. This is a unique show from two people doing their best to work through all the information and share their personal thoughts without fanning the flames of fear. We will be ok America. Stay Strong. (and wash your hands!)

The #Nationals are headed to the World Series. Those are some of the sweetest words in the english language and they are 100% true! Our DC Nats have beat the #Dodgers and now the #Cardinals and await either the #Yanks or the #Astros for a #WorldSeries showdown! The Nationals did it! Hail the Nationals! Won-Soto came up big AGAIN! Mad-max started off a bit rough but eventually settled down and Strasburg put on his big-boy pants and took care of things when the team needed him the most... and through it all... DC fans came out early and stayed late for the incredible celebratory beer-baths that started in the eighth inning and continued until the final pitch! This.Is.It.DC. This Nationals team is not the same as years past... they are the most resilient, even if not the most talented, we have had here in years and we should all embrace it! Next up is the Dodgers... but fear not, P.Corbin gets his first postseason start (ever) after his best season (ever) and is capable of stealing game one for the Nationals! Listen, get ready, and lets go Nats! N-A-T-S Nats Nats Nats! 

Get your popcorn and settle in as Stevie and Joe breakdown a tough series loss to the Mets for a Nationals team that needed at least two of three to feel better before coming home and ending their nine-game road trip. All three games followed a similar script: Nats take early lead, Nats give up late runs, and in the first two games, Nats blow the save... and boy was it ugly. Stevie is still optimistic as the Nationals played well against their division rival missing several key players but the talk of the town is Juan Soto and his potentially serious injury. If Soto misses considerable time, the season may hang in the balance. Joe forces Stevie to play some EPL trivia while discussing the DC United mess featuring Wayne Rooney and the boys end the show discussing two Netflix Documentaries that premiered recently... Cambridge Analytica anyone? 

The #Nationals made some trades, brought in some new faces, but have dropped three straight series over the past two weeks that have Stevie and Joe asking questions. Most notably the Nationals are off to a rough start dropping two in the dessert one of which saw Strasburg get hit over and over and over again. The Nationals are now in a virtual tie with the #Phillies for the final wildcard spot with #Arizona and NY #Mets not far behind. With 50 games to go the postseason is getting closer and closer and the #Nats have to find a way to win without one of their Aces for at least another week. Stevie and Joe share their thoughts after another mass shooting and ask everyone listening to pray for the communities impacted but also for the politicians and law makers who have to tackle this difficult task of "change"... God Bless America.

Stevie and Joe discuss all things #Nationals as the curly "W" goes in the books! Strasburg goes for 3 hits, 5 RBIs, and one big homer but that is just the proverbial tip with this team and its recent surging in the standings! The #Nats have found the bats, they have found some pitching, and they have found themselves. All they did was get healthy and the rest is history... we hope! Stevie and Joe preview the rest of the Braves series, talk about the Dodgers and Rockies too, and talk about potential needs that can be addressed prior to the deadline (if needed). The NFL Playoffs continue and Joe is on a heater picking all four games correctly last week and now shifting his attention to the big matchups this weekend. Goodbye 2018 and Hello 2019. #FireBruceAllen should continue to trend on twitter as the #Redskins face their fans and the offseason with lots of questions (seemingly without answers) while #FireErnie should begin trending as the Wizards are likely to finish no better than 7th in the East. Even with all the negative headlines in DC Sports the one headline that matters is that the Capitals are champions and thus, we are all champions! Olympics + WorldCup always make things awesome.... but 2019 will be great as well! Congrats Stevie, Almost Congrats LP! Happy New Year to all! 

Stevie and Joe are ready to break down NFL free agency and the moves the Redskins did and did NOT make at the trade deadline! Stevie wanted offensive help, Joe didn't, but both were surprised to hear the Redskins acquired a defensive back improving a unit that needed depth and strengthening a strength which may propel the defensive from 4th overall to best in the league! The duo also talk World Series, briefly discuss the NBA (yuck @Wizards) and touch on the DC United home playoff game set for Wednesday night! Listen, and share!

Joe and Stevie are live and ready to go talking about the end of the Gio era with the Nationals, the reasons why the season went so poorly, and what to expect in the coming months as Rizzo prepares for 2019.
