What a sports week it has been! The USA had a near perfect debut in the World Cup, the Knicks won (and also embarrassed themselves), all the Euro tourists LOVE it here, UFC 250 was a spectacle unlike any other, ... oh, and the Nationals are surging! What a wild week in June! FP, LP, Mat, and Joe are hitting all the topics ahead of the weekend!

FP and Joe are in studio and recording a day late but wow what a show... they cover a lot of ground. Lot's happening in and around DC these days but nothing bigger right now than the NFL draft... although the Nationals are playing .500 ball consistently and that's not nothing! FP has a wild shower take and the NBA playoffs are off to a pretty interesting start!

The boys are yuck'n it up discussing... basically everything but also nothing. Baseball is here, basketball is on-going, and Easter is around the corner. The fast food burger wars are interesting everyone has a favorite type of steak and the show has big plans for many future spinoffs... the DTC Universe is expanding! All 'aboard the struggle bus.

The boys are in studio on a short week discussing the #Chiefs victory over the #Commanders on Monday Night and taking a look around the league... things are wide WIDE open! The World Series is awesome and the underdog has a chance, but nobody is awake to see it... the NBA season is underway with some interesting twists including a huge off-court gambling fiasco unfolding in real-time… plus, and with Halloween just days away, the boys rate their top 5 halloween candy! 

This is a big episode for the show... the #Commanders stalled in #Dallas against the #Cowboys and the problems and injuries are adding up fast... might the season be slipping away? The Wold Series is set; #Drake v #KLamar ie BlueJays v Dodgers and the NBA Season officially begins... the boys have some bold predictions for the local team and the league at large... plus, the #Caps started their season very well! Let's Go!

It is time to breakdown the #Commanders schedule and get ready for the start of the regular season which is just a few weeks out! The boys are getting back into the "swing" of things covering training camp, the latest Terry contract news and a quick OMC discussion of Happy Gilmore 2 on Netflix!

FP and Joe miss each other and thus, the mics are turned on for this mid-summer jam session. The boys lament the heat and take some time to get caught up on life happenings and the DC sports scene. Most notably the Commanders are getting their colors back, the Wiz are poised for a postseason push, and the Nationals... ooooof!  The offline chat became the Offseason Movie Club with the boys having a spirited debate about the first half of the Fast & Furious series.

Oh many what a week in DC! The Commanders got a deal done with DC to redevelop RFK and the renders look amazing! The NFL draft came and went with so many compelling storylines and "villain" arcs being created, and locally the team did a mediocre/great job... depending on whom you ask! The NBA Draft lottery is a week away, the Nationals don't stink, and the CAPS are trying their best to not-screw-things-up! Plus the boys watched the Accountant for OMC! What a week, what a show! 

Bit of a strange one this week with injuries and illness wrecking the cast and crew of DTC. May not be our best show ever, but the streak lives on! It doesn't happen often but all three DC pro teams might lose as of the taping, Ovi stuck on 892 but really coulda/shoula been 893 as the Caps fall flat over last few games, plus, March Mad/Sadness is almost over... can Cooper Flagg + AJ Johnson catapult the Wiz forward? Read that again... yup! They are THAT interesting and the Wiz front office KNOW what they are doing! For the weekly installment of the OMC the boys review 1994's True Lies and pay their respects to the great "Iceman" Val Kilmer... this is a 90min fatty! Enjoy! 

FP, Andy, Stevie, and Joe are in the studio recapping the week that was in and around DC. Fireworks in real life and in local sports. Ovi is within 10 of the record even though the Caps dropped 3-straight, the Lakers are surging... the Nationals finally have room to negotiate their own media deal and the Offseason Movie Club (OMC) debuts with a review of 2008's Forgetting Sarah Marshall! 

It's a holiday week but that doesn't mean we skip a show! The #Commanders pulled off a stunning victory on Sunday over the #Eagles and got flexed into Sunday Night Football vs the #Falcons. The Christmas Day sports rotation was out of control between the NFL and NBA and while the NFL games were largely boring the NBA had an awesome day with an average margin of just 5 pts between winners and losers... but nobody watched! Pete from Philly chimes in from overseas and Stevie shares a largely redacted story... oops. + EPL Boxing Day GoalRush in 4k is awesome! Merry Christmas!

Coming off the bye week for the Commanders the boys are in studio discussing the week that was in the NFL and the week ahead. Lots of MLB and Caps talk to start the show but the pivot to the NFL is quick.... The Eagles barely beat the Panthers but stay alive in the chase for the Lions and the top NFC seed, the Rams pulled a big upset, and the Chiefs... the Chiefs keep luck-winning. Seems like fans want to see Lions vs Bills but we are going to get stuck with Eagles vs Chiefs in the Super Bowl? Maybe? Commanders need a win against the Saints to stay alive in the NFC and what was the NFL thinking with several huge games in the 4pm window on Sunday?

Oh boy, the local football team is on a heater! The #Commanders win their 3rd in a row in convincing fashion and even the most stubborn must admit #JD5 is impressive. The Eagles lost to the Bucs, the Vikings keep rolling, the Bengals finally get a win. Plus, the MLB playoffs are here... it's officially the start of the BEST time of the sports year!

The boys are in the studio talking about the week 2 around the NFL, the injuries, the surprises, and resetting some expectations. Plus, did we learn anything last week during the debate and FP comes out as a baseball fan. 
 

The boys are thankful the season is almost over... Commanders are regressing although there were signs of life from individual offensive contributors. Do you start QB1 or QB2 against the Jets next week? The NFL seems wide open as we start eyeballing the playoffs, with teams like the Browns, Bucs, and Rams getting hot at just the right time! Plus, who is having the better offseason, the Yankees or the Dodgers and what does a Wiz/Caps move to Virginia mean to downtown DC!

Which teams are streaking as we near the playoffs + why all of a sudden the NBA in-season tournament is low-key awesome. How do you handle Halloween as an adult? Death on the ice in England (super sad situation), the UFC/Boxing obsession grows for one show cast-member + Commanders jump out to a lead but fail to beat the Eagles... again! The NFL top 5 and low 5 are here to close out week seven and Stevie helps us get ready for game three of the world series which has been shockingly eventful even though nobody is watching!

FP and Joe are in studio discussing the fiery furnace that is currently Coach Ron's seat and what can be done to turn it down a tad. They took around the league on a week full of upset wins and while the NHL and NBA seasons are getting rolling the baseball season is almost at its final matchup with one matchup NOBODY wants to see looming large.

The boys are hot. The Commanders, Football Team, Redskins... doesn't matter... when they should win the regularly lose! Offense was flat, defense was leaky, special teams failed (less a crucial recovery)... but why can't this team find it's groove early on. The longest seven minutes... 

The boys recap the full slate of NFL games including the Commanders win in ATL to improve to 3-3... reminder, they beat nobody as FP says. The NFL is basically a bunch of .500 teams, the CAPS are back on the ice, and Bryce homers on his birthday... do we cheer or never/ever cheer?

Commanders slip in the power rankings but given cooler heads have come forth since the Bears loss the boys are enthralled with playoff baseball. Bryce did Bryce things in ATL while the Diamondbacks may be demonstrating why the new playoff model is flawed with favorite teams losing! +ESPN will roll out "FROZEN FRENZY" on opening night as we see the Red-Zone-ification of sports continue from NFL to GoalRush and now Frozen Frenzy can the NBA do something similar and would anyone care? The boys are in studio to recap the Commanders win/lose vs the Eagles... scoreboard says one thing, eyes say another + a look around the NFC East with Pete from Philly, updated power rankings... where do the vikings/patriots/broncos slot in, and a little baseball discussion as well which highlights what we already knew... baseball Joe knows nothing!

Mic check, mic check... Stevie and Joe are return to the pod to catch-up on a few different topics while the dust settles on summer 2022. Nationals trade their brightest star, after trading their previous brightest stars, after letting their stud slugger leave town... and Stevie is convinced Mike Rizzo can rebuild the team (again... and quickly)! The Commanders look worse defensively but the real chatter is about the Lions on HARD KNOCKS... Tiger isn't going to LIV, Manti T'eo has a must watch documentary on Netflix that must be watched ... and what do you expect from a Game of Thrones reboot/spin-off? Welcome back to DTC.

Stevie and Joe are on the mics and are ready to talk about everything post-NFL. Should the Saudi's standup a rival to the PGA? Can the NBA ever recapture the magic of the early 2000s east/west all-star game and dunk contests? What does a real offer to Juan Soto look like if you are the Nationals + Zim's legacy is sealed in DC.

Joe is riding solo and has thoughts on the WFT losing to the Broncos... everyone has to go... everyone! Almost halfway through the NFL season Joe has his top 10 teams to share + should Drew Brees return to the Saints? if not, should Philip Rivers?
