NBA Offseason Craziness; IT to Wiz; US Women in World Cup Finale

The Wizards have been busy acquiring young talent and draft picks while the Nets made a huge splash landing KD, Kyrie, and DJ... however, Joe believes the 76ers and Jazz are having better off-seasons while LP is on Boston and 20 thinks the Lakers are unbeatable if Kawhi joins them. The trio debate the crazy start to NBA free agency including DLo to the Warriors and IT to the Wiz. The boys also discuss the USWNT win over England and look ahead towards the World Cup finale too! Raptors are Dino-Mite; AD traded to LA; Wiz Issues

LP, FP, 20, Canada, and Joe discuss what was the NBA Finals and MVP Kawhi's next move. The guys also discuss the confusion surrounding the Wizards, the chaos caused around the league by the injuries in the bay area, and expectations for the upcoming draft in a few days time. Harrison Barnes has opted out of his current deal, Al Horford too, and Brad Beal may be on the way to NOLA for the 4th pick too... crazy, this league is crazy! Joe also shares his thoughts on why the NBA has a big problem on its hands because people seem to care more about the post-season than the actual season. Does Mo Salah have a nice body? We will debate!

NBA Conference Finals; Draft Lottery; Rockets Grounded

Pete, Canada, and Joe discuss the greatest shot in Canadian basketball history, after listening to it in several languages, then put a bow on the 76ers season, then turn their attention to the Eastern and Western Conference Finals. First, in the east, can anyone stop the Bucks and their balanced rotation, and similarly in the west, are the Blazers deep enough to knock off the Warriors. The trio also discuss the Durant to Knicks rumor and speculate on the which team getting Zion would be the best for the NBA.... also CP3 is over-rated, Harden isn't as good as his stats, and the Nets may be the sleeper team to land some big-name free agents this summer.

Saints and Chiefs Robbed; NFL Rule Changes; Goose Allen Interview; Wiz Wins

FP, 20, and Joe are talking about how the Saints and Rams should be forced to replay the end of the NFC championship game (1:30), how the Chiefs should have had an opportunity to touch the ball in OT (4:30), and why the NFL should immediately change the Overtime Rules and make all plays available for challenge (11:25). Also, Joe lays out a solid reason as to why all NFL challenges should be handled from New York and NOT on the field in real-time. Brady gets a chance to book-end his career with another win against the Rams in the Superbowl (21:30) and might he walk off and retire? "20" rejoins the show to talk about the NFL matchups as well and the duo also discusses the National Championship game, would you play baseball or football if both were an option, why the Redskins haven't fired anyone, and debate if the Wizards are better without John Wall. The Wizards are missing John Wall and struggling to string wins together while the Capitals are streaking and trying to cement their identity as they are set to make a second straight cup-run! The Capitals on the other hand are quietly repeating their success from last year, playing well against the better teams and beating the teams they should. Goodbye 2018 and Hello 2019. #FireBruceAllen should continue to trend on twitter as the #Redskins face their fans and the offseason with lots of questions (seemingly without answers) while #FireErnie should begin trending as the Wizards are likely to finish no better than 7th in the East. Even with all the negative headlines in DC Sports the one headline that matters is that the Capitals are champions and thus, we are all champions! Olympics + WorldCup always make things awesome.... but 2019 will be great as well! Congrats Stevie, Almost Congrats LP! Happy New Year to all!

The Washington Wizards have traded away Kelly Oubre and Austin Rivers and welcomed back Trevor Ariza. On the surface this screams "Fire Ernie" but surprisingly LP and Joe are not on the same page with Joe being "pro" the trade for several reasons. NBA Finals Preview; Rematch x4; Eight Years of LeBron

The (most boring) NBA Finals have arrived... (but we are spicing things up with some NBA on NBC theme music!)... #Warriors vs #LeBron for the 4th straight year... how does anyone get excited about that? Well, maybe we aren't excited, but we still love basketball, and still will watch, so let's set the table for the series which begins on Thursday night... afterall LeBron was right, "not 1, not 2, not 3..." he has been to 8 straight finals, which is incredible to consider as many of us were still in school or hadn't met our spouses... eight years ago #ESPN was still relevant, and #Drake hadn't released an album yet... much less a "dis-track". Nationals Make a Change; #BeatPittsburgh; Panic or No-Panic?

The Nationals have made a change and the DTC Nats Crew... all of us... are discussing it prior to first pitch! The pitching has been solid, the hitting not so much, injuries are a problem but not an excuse, and overall a city that is recovering from a Wizards loss needs a Caps win, and needs to see the Nationals play better overall to keep us all sane. Wizards Lose to Raptors; 3-2 Face Elimination; Playoff Predictions

In what can only be labeled as a disappointment, the Wizards dropped game five in Toronto even though they had the lead half-way through the final frame. Wall had moments of brilliance and moments of frustration, Beal played better than he did in games one and two, but ultimately the Wizards couldn't get points down the stretch settling for two many three pointers that just wouldn't fall.
