CoronaVirus continues to crush the souls of sports fans around the world and with no end in sight, the boys at DTC are thankful to be healthy, bitter at the lack of live sports content, and hopeful a cure/vaccine will be found soon. NFL free agency is well underway and the Redskins made an interesting moving nabbing one Carolina QB and trading away a starting DB to a bitter rival in the Pacific northwest. NBA Season Suspended; Corona Virus Thoughts; Bernie Bro's

Stevie and Joe were literally caught speechless when the #NBA announced the season had been suspended, so they took 10 mins, gathered their thoughts and then turned on the mics! The NBA season may resume with playoffs only based on current seeding, or may have play-in games, who knows, right now however, there will be no more games. European soccer is already halting games as well, travel to Europe is suspended for 30 days, and yes, #CoronaVirus #COVID19 is to blame and not going anywhere anytime soon. Somehow one thing leads to another and the boys end up discussing the democratic primaries, the lack of presidential leadership, the stock market tanking, and what may come next here in DC. This is a unique show from two people doing their best to work through all the information and share their personal thoughts without fanning the flames of fear. We will be ok America. Stay Strong. (and wash your hands!)

Super Bowl LIV Preview; Predictions; Prop Bets

Stevie, Razzle, and Joe pay respects to the Mamba then switch gears to break down yet another Super Bowl matchup that happens to feature an ex-Redskins coach and several ex-Redskins players too. Stevie likes the Chiefs because of their offensive firepower, Razzle is on the 49ers because of their defensive abilities, and Joe is playing both sides and only cares about the point spreads and prop bets! (This show was recorded live, audio issues, and random interruptions were frequent... we'll clean that up next time around!)

Case Keenum didn't look sharp but did have a TD pass to Robert Davis. Haskins shows that the talent is there but it's still raw and he needs time to develop. Training Camp Recap; Rookie Forecasts; Wins & Loses

As #Redskins training camp ends and the season begins some here at DTC are excited while others are worried. The boys get sidetracked into some inside the beltway talk but it all comes full circle to the Redskins in the end! No Trent is a big problem however young coachable talent at offensive skill positions is still exciting. Stevie, Pete, Razzle, and Joe talk about the weeks that were in Richmond as the Redskins pack up camp and get ready to face the Browns. The QB battle appears to be wide open while the RB battle has settled down into what will be a lucrative timeshare for all parties involved... if, Stevie reminds us, Trent shows up! Joe is excited to see this young and promising defensive front take the field while Pete has questions about the timing of some of the Redskins cuts this offseason most notably Mason Foster. Joe has the #Redskins winning 10 games, Pete has them winning 7, Stevie is at 6, and Razzle is at 4. The show ends with a spirited discussion about the ongoing presidential debates because after all this is DC!

Redskins 2019 Draft Recap; Schedule Breakdown; Bruce's Best Day

LP and Joe are back to breakdown the Redskins 2019 draft class in detail and shed some light on what caused the stars to align for Bruce Allen to have the best day of his tenure as a member of the 'Skins front office! The boys also discuss what went wrong in NY and why Rosen going to the Dolphins was a sneaky good move by the 'fins and a terrible move by the forever-rebuilding Cardinals. LP has the Redskins at 10-6 after breaking down the schedule while Joe has them at 9-7 but making the playoffs because of scheduling which affords them six straight NFC contests to end the season! 24 hours into free agency and the Redskins have already made a splash move by bringing in Landon Collins with a 6 year 84 million dollar deal. The Redskins also traded for Case Keenum, the guy who Kirk Cousins replaced in Minnesota, who also took the Vikings to the NFC Championship game for a bag a stale potato chips and made Denver pay for half that bag of chips. CJ Mosely gets an insane amount of money for playing inside line backer, Zach Brown and Mason Foster may be traded, Preston Smith and Ty Nsekhe get paid, this plus much more on this pod with LP and FP. DTC Returns; Full Recap of February 2019; Bye Bye Bryce

The wait is over, the DTC podcast is back! Joe is riding solo today re-visiting the biggest sports topics of the past month from the Super Bowl to LeBron James, Jason Witten to Bryce Harper, and from Gov Ralph Northam to POTUS to Kim Jung Un, and literally everything in between… there is something for everyone! Saints and Chiefs Robbed; NFL Rule Changes; Goose Allen Interview; Wiz Wins

FP, 20, and Joe are talking about how the Saints and Rams should be forced to replay the end of the NFC championship game (1:30), how the Chiefs should have had an opportunity to touch the ball in OT (4:30), and why the NFL should immediately change the Overtime Rules and make all plays available for challenge (11:25). Redskins Beat Jags; Defense Plays Big; NFC Playoff Picture

The #Redskins, powered by Josh Johnson, played stout defense and just well enough on offense to defeat the #Jaguars and improve to 7-7 keeping themselves firmly in the playoff hunt. The #Cowboys and #Giants both managed 0 (ZERO) points while losing and will face each other one more time to end the season in a few weeks... but for now, the Redskins are alive and will face the #Titans on Saturday in a must-win. Coach Jay Gruden deserves an award for how well he has coached 2nd and 3rd string players all season long and with his fourth quarterback under center he is fighting for every inch and imploring his players to do the same. Mason Foster had a great game, Allen and Kerrigan too, and Haha Clinton-Dix played his best game as a Redskin too. The offense didn't look great but AP still has something in the tank and Crowder clearly does too! What a win! Hail to the #Redskins #HailVictory!

Kelly Oubre Traded; Ariza Acquired; Redskins v Jags Preview

The Washington Wizards have traded away Kelly Oubre and Austin Rivers and welcomed back Trevor Ariza. On the surface this screams "Fire Ernie" but surprisingly LP and Joe are not on the same page with Joe being "pro" the trade for several reasons. The duo break it all down and preview the Redskins Jaguars game as well! Tune in, comment, share, repeat... and DC... it will get better one day, some day, when Ernie and Bruce are gone!

Fail to the Redskins; Fire Bruce; Record Low Attendance

The Redskins are an embarrassment that words cannot fully illustrate. Once upon a time we had a real quarterback... he wore the number 8. Bruce Allen refused to sign him to a long term deal, traded away all of his receivers, his "weapons", then watched him still throw for nearly 4000 yards before refusing to sign him again, and ultimately watched him leave DC just as the prime of his career was on the horizon. Alex Smith (Godspeed on your recovery) is likely never going to play football again, Colt is a backup at best and a year and half away from returning from his injury, Mark Sanchez does not belong in the NFL and Josh Johnson will start at quarterback next week for the 6-7 Redskins who left the few true fans they had left with their heads in their hands asking themselves how much longer must we endure Bruce "Goose" Allen? Playoffs? Forget about it... we need the 'Skins to lose 50-0 every week moving forward to force Dan to fire Bruce. As fans we deserve better than this! The Giants are not a more talented team, but they showed today that in sports, talent never beats hard work. Today, every Redskins fan should be disappointed, and if we really want to see change, we have to send a message... don't sell your tickets, trash them, force this team to play in front of no fans... when we attend they complain... so let's give them what they want... silence. Shame.
