Well... only one panelist had the 'skins losing on Thursday and oof did they look bad with the national spotlight on them. The Cowboys and Giants played a classic; the Dolphins and Raiders looked atrocious, and the league is plagued with injuries... plus, Adam Silver is the worst commissioner of any sport, ever not only calling fans "poors" but also encouraging them to "go watch highlights"... just crazy... this is a wild episode.

NFL Week 1 is in the books and the #Commanders opened the season at home with a WIN! The offense looked good; the defense looked better; the #Giants looked terrible. We go around the horn and identify the top and bottom teams in the league and it wouldn't be a new season without some over the top over-reactions to week 1! Lots of NFL talk headed your way on this one! ...also, nobody cares about the #Packers!

It's finally here... football is back! With the NFL season schedule in just a few days the boys are in studio for one last time making bold predictions for the Commanders and for the league at large. FP and Joe miss each other and thus, the mics are turned on for this mid-summer jam session. The boys lament the heat and take some time to get caught up on life happenings and the DC sports scene. Most notably the Commanders are getting their colors back, the Wiz are poised for a postseason push, and the Nationals... ooooof!  The offline chat became the Offseason Movie Club with the boys having a spirited debate about the first half of the Fast & Furious series.

The #Capitals were eliminated (Go Florida!), the NBA playoffs are enjoyable and the Pacers are literally making history over and over again, the Finals matchups work with a bunch of different combinations depending on your preferred flavor of basketball.. The world said goodbye to Around the Horn after nearly 5000 episodes... this show meant so much to all of us and is largely why sports podcasts are what they are today... 23 years is a wild run! The NFL draft came and went with so many compelling storylines and "villain" arcs being created, and locally the team did a mediocre/great job... depending on whom you ask! The NBA Draft lottery is a week away, the Nationals don't stink, and the CAPS are trying their best to not-screw-things-up! Plus the boys watched the Accountant for OMC! What a week, what a show!

FP, LP, and Joe are in the studio on the mics discussing DC sports and random happenings all over town. The RFK / DC Stadium deal appears REAL, the Commanders are one week away from the NFL draft and thinking ahead they need OL and Secondary help most notably... the Wiz have a 14% chance to land the top pick in the NBA draft and the Capitals are literally LIMPING into the playoffs. Plus, the boys discuss 2011's Colombiana on this weeks installment of the OMC.

Bit of a strange one this week with injuries and illness wrecking the cast and crew of DTC. May not be our best show ever, but the streak lives on! It doesn't happen often but all three DC pro teams might lose as of the taping, Ovi stuck on 892 but really coulda/shoula been 893 as the Caps fall flat over last few games, plus, March Mad/Sadness is almost over... can Cooper Flagg + AJ Johnson catapult the Wiz forward? Read that again... yup! They are THAT interesting and the Wiz front office KNOW what they are doing! For the weekly installment of the OMC the boys review 1994's True Lies and pay their respects to the great "Iceman" Val Kilmer... this is a 90min fatty! Enjoy!

We are days away from the NCAA tournament and the endless discussion of brackets... yuck. Joe has officially rebranded March Madness into March Sadness because March is the first month of the year with no NFL action. Aaron Rodgers still undecided about where he will play next season holding the league hostage and more directly Russ Wilson. Locally the Wizards are "un-tanking" and the Capitals are ready ready ready for the post season... plus, the OMC reviews The Usual Suspects (1:03 start) with mixed feedback on the highly acclaimed film.

The #Commanders were super active landing a STUD offensive lineman via trade comfortably in his prime and DT "BigDaddy" Kinlaw. Did the #Rams get a little better or a lot better? #Cowboys are doing nothing so far, and the #Colts are spending a lot on defense? Switching to the ice, the #Capitals got a few wins over the past week AND the #Great8 closes to single digits in his quest for the record. FP and Joe are slowly adjusting to offseason life as the NFL season comes to end. The Chiefs lost and looked bad bad bad while the Eagles deservingly (yuck) crushed and won. The boys are still recovering from a tough loss in Philadelphia to end the season and while the pain is real the progress and promise of a bright future are in the air. Many many supportive messages have come in to the various show accounts and we are all so very grateful. Pete from Philly however is the worst and 24 hours later is still harassing the cast. Biggest position of need? ... so many things to debate this offseason. What a fun ride it has been DC... cheers to a wonderful season.

The Commanders season continues after a big win on the road in #Detroit. The team that won 4 games in total last year is 60 minutes from playing in the super bowl! The NFC championship game is set for Philly on Sunday at 3pm... all.bets.are.off! Jayden needed to play a perfect game, and did! The #Lions had to be forced into mistakes, and they were.
