Time for a little week in review... Stevie and Joe discuss the #Nationals and #MadMax surging and find themselves in first place in the NL East (or close to it)... JR Smith is an idiot that is too stupid to point-shave and we feel a little bad for #Lebron... #Capitals are bringing the noise to DC for Game3 on Saturday night and rumor has it 20 bald eagles will carry the flag to center ice before the puck drops... plus, #RumpMeetsTrump and the disaster that is Disney/ESPN and their hiring of Keith Olbermaan and firing of Roseanne Barr... plus a whole lot more.

JR Soils Bed; LeBron nets 51; Warriors in 3

Well, that was awkward... Lebron has 51 points, JR Smith can't read, victory to the Warriors, and they may win this series in three games! There are no words to describe the actions and lack of awareness displayed by JR Smith.. only meme's (ThxTwitter). Kevin Love showed he still has fight in him, but ultimately the Cavs came up short in overtime. The Warriors had stunning performances from their studs and look in command of the series. LP, Canada, and Joe breakdown game one and discuss adjustments both teams should look to make before game two and figure out how and what to do with JR Smith because his situation is terrible. + Mo Salah cleared for the World Cup, Twitter burn accounts, and a random Mystics schedule update. 

NBA Finals Preview; Rematch x4; Eight Years of LeBron

The (most boring) NBA Finals have arrived... (but we are spicing things up with some NBA on NBC theme music!)... #Warriors vs #LeBron for the 4th straight year... how does anyone get excited about that? Well, maybe we aren't excited, but we still love basketball, and still will watch, so let's set the table for the series which begins on Thursday night... afterall LeBron was right, "not 1, not 2, not 3..." he has been to 8 straight finals, which is incredible to consider as many of us were still in school or hadn't met our spouses... eight years ago #ESPN was still relevant, and #Drake hadn't released an album yet... much less a "dis-track". Justin Blaze (@jusblaze_513) from the Above the Rim Podcast joins Joe to preview the matchup and make some predictions for the series and also for the #Wizards and the offseason staring Ernie G in the face. Golden Knights Win; Capitals Score 4; Vegas Pregame; Warriors to NBA Finals

The #Capitals had two different chances to win game one by holding on to a one goal lead... twice... but couldn't do it and the #GoldenKnights took the win. The studs on both sides played "ok" but nobody expected a 10-goal shootout. #Vegas is fast but #DC may be more encouraged than discouraged in the end. Joe is joined by Ashley from @VGKladies to discuss game one in detail and share her perspective from inside of Tmobile Arena in downtown #LasVegas. Hockey fans everywhere should be excited about this Final... just as NBA fans should be disappointed that #Cavs vs #Warriors is our NBA Final for the fourth straight time.

The NBA Conference finals are under way and before we get into predictions we quickly recap the Raptors vs. LeBron series, then jump into can the Rockets win, and discuss what it would take for an Eastern Conference team to win the NBA Finals...hint, "a miracle' is a good guess. Wizards Lose to Raptors; 3-2 Face Elimination; Playoff Predictions

In what can only be labeled as a disappointment, the Wizards dropped game five in Toronto even though they had the lead half-way through the final frame. Wall had moments of brilliance and moments of frustration, Beal played better than he did in games one and two, but ultimately the Wizards couldn't get points down the stretch settling for two many three pointers that just wouldn't fall. The Wiz return to DC for a win-or-go-home game six on Friday night and Stevie, Joe, and Mina Canada break it ALL down. Winners, losers, adjustments, and predictions. Tune in and share!

The Washington Capitals have now won 3 straight! Starting the series down 0-2 to the Columbus Blue Jackets the Caps have flipped the momentum of the series based on a Nicklas Backstrom OT goal. DTC:FP and LP on NFL Free Agency and the Combine

Kirk Cousins is long gone, the Redskins will not be tagging him. Alex Smith is the Redskins quarterback going forward. Florida Shooting; Revisiting Alex Smith; + Nationals Spring Training Preview

Stevie and Joe recap the events of the week starting with a focus on the shooting in Florida. In this never-ending newscycle both hosts had a few things to share. The show then pivots to a discussion about Alex Smith and a revisit of his trade and extension with the Redskins which then leads the boys into a conversation about Amazon potentially moving to DC and leads into a preview of the Nationals spring training which is just weeks away. This type of show is quick-paced and shifts a lot as it follows the thoughts of Steve and Joe but it is their favorite type to record because it is unscripted and raw. DeAndre Jordan is likely to be traded in the coming days and LP and Joe have some thoughts about how the Wizards might be involved and how this deal may get done! The duo is joined by Mina B, aka "Canada", to breakdown all things NBA including an insiders perspective on a Raptors team that appears to be vastly improved over last year. LP shares thoughts on the Wiz and their recent 5-game win streak without John Wall and begs Ernie to make the RIGHT move before the deadline to improve the team to challenge for the east! In NHL talks, the Vegas Golden Knights seem to have a real home ice advantage, is that a product of being in Vegas?

Week in Wizards; The Wiz Stink vs Jazz & Stink Less vs Blazers

LP and Joe discuss all things Wizards and NBA plus a little bit of the Ball family drama and some bitcoin as well in this weeks episode of Week in Wizards. The team came out flat in Utah and rebounded one night later in Portland... so what can we learn about this team from one poor showing and one "less poor" showing? Well first, Brad Beal is a stud, but secondly, this team is going to struggle to replicate their success from last season. Week in Wizards; The Wiz Are Struggling without John Wall

LP and Joe were LIVE on Facebook talking Wizards after a crushing loss to the Sixers. The Wizards haven't looked like themselves in several games now and surely much of that is because the leader, the best point guard in the east, the undisputed hero of DC; John Wall remains sidelined. But that isn't the only reason the team is struggling. The defense has been poor and with the exception of a few games the bench is slowly coming around but has still been a liability on most nights. Redskins Vikings Overreaction show; Caps 5-1 in last 6; Wiz win 3 straight

The Washington Redskins failed to capitalize after an impressive victory against the Seahawks last week. The team can’t seem to string together a game where the offense, defense, and special teams put together a good, full game. FP, Joe and LP talk who is to blame, there has been some talk about blaming Kirk, which the DTC crew all disagree, there has been talks about blaming the coaches which the crew is split on. Pryor jawed with a fan pregame, where LP thought that would lift his on-field play but unfortunately went 0/0. Maurice Harris had possibly the catch of the year, at least for the Redskins. The defense failed to stop the Vikings from getting in the end zone multiple times. While the offense went 2/4 in the red zone and 2/4 on fourth down conversions. Joe is flying solo on this episode of DTC as last minute changes kept FP and LP from joining as scheduled... but never fear Eric Yeboah is here! That's right! Atlanta Hawks and NBA insider Eric Yeboah sits it for the entire show with Joe and the duo discuss everything NBA from the Wiz slow start, to the slumping Cavs, to the the extremely disappointing Thunder. Joe get's Eric on the record about the idea that the lack of back-to-back games benefit the below average teams then the two proceed to discuss several of those teams that are performing well to start the season. Eric also shares his thoughts on the MVP of the league so far (Harden or M. Gasol) and in an unforeseen twist, the guys start discussing Crunk and Go-Go music.
